How to make a Necklace

Here are some instructions on how to make a necklace:

Fixed Design

Items you will need:

  1. Pair of Flat Nose Pliers
  2. Tiger Tail ?
  3. Crimps ?
  4. Bolt Ring ?
  5. Jump Ring ?
  6. Charlotte Crimp ?
  7. Beads/Crystals

Instructions

1. Crimp a clamp near the end of the tiger tail using the pliers.

2. Slide a charlotte crimp onto the tiger tail and close it over the clamped crimp.

3. Attach a bolt ring to the charlotte crimp. Close loop with pliers.

4. Choose your design. Slide each bead or crystal onto the tiger tail. You can place a crimp after each piece to secure it in place.

5. Once you have added all your desired bead or crystal pieces, place the second charlotte crimp on the tiger tail with another crimp after it. Close charlotte crimp over the last crimp. Close the charlotte crimp loop over the jump ring.

Floating Design

Items you will need:

  1. Strand or strong thread of some kind (can use several strands to strengthen necklace)
  2. Needle
  3. Beads/Crystals
  4. Clasp ?

Instructions

1. Determine the length of your necklace.

2. Divide the thread in half. The half mark is the center of your necklace.

3. Choose your design. Start adding beads/crystals to your necklace in design of your choice.

4. Add clasps to either end of the necklace.
